The Art of Photography

                                      Photography

Photography exploits vulnerabilities of the human visual perception and can make us experience emotions that move us and compel us to do things that we otherwise would not even think of.

Take a picture of something blue using the rule of thirds:

The picture shows the body splash captured using Rule of Thirds enhancing the content of lotion against the beautiful Gillani park where I used to jog carrying this before coming to NUST. This picture refreshes a lot of my memories spent in the park. I hope those days will come back soon after this covid pandemic vanishes.

Take a picture of something yellow using the rule of thirds:

This picture shows my geometry box or we can say a pouch. WELL as it can be seen in the photo that it is more than a pouch it is more or less an inventory carrying each and every stationery item. It is with me for the last 7-8 years. Lol, I was famous in my school and college because of this pouch. Even when a teacher forgot his/her board marker I used to provide them one from this pouch. I have a record of carrying ten board markers😅 in it along with other stationery items.

Take a picture of something using fill-the-frame:

"Cars are my love,  my passion"

The picture shows my honda civic reborn, my ultimate love which I sold last year. Whenever I see this picture memories related to my rides on this beauty flood back to mind. The cars I had or I have now are my everything. Many people said: "You love cars? Are you mad or out of your mind. How come a human can love a car". It is a thing that can never be expressed in words or by a mere pic. It is a feeling which a few can feel. These comments make me love cars more. You might have heard of or being betrayed by a human, however, believe me, a car never betrays! :)💗

It might seem odd to some of you but for me, it is an utter reality moreover riding a car has always been my escape from worldly tensions and complexities.

"Some more of my love (not a fill the frame photo),
                                                             I call it ELITE_ROLLA"

Take an interesting photo of a building from up high or down low:

As a RAVIAN, I feel proud when I look at this beauty, the famous Gothic lady of Government College and University Lahore. This beautiful tower attracts so much that a viewer forgets everything for a moment and he is just the part of this epitome of architecture and beauty at that moment. The majestic tower in this picture, which I took during my golden period in this college, has always been a beacon of inspiration for me, and still many memories of college life are embedded in this one capture.

Using leading lines, take a photo of a person or thing:

Actually, such pics are horrible😅 as mostly suiciders take such pics before committing suicide may Allah give them Hidayah Ameen. However, I was not here for suicide rather I was excited for my first trip to Karachi by train. I captured this picture when I was waiting for the train. It might look like that how dumb I am. The high-speed train could have hit me because I really did not know from which side it would arrive but it was my first time so.....😁

Using different leading lines, take a photo of a different person or thing:

Ah! Here comes the beauty again. I captured this picture in 2019. These leading lines and beautiful palm trees enhance the glow and focus of the Gothic Lady.

Take a nice vertical portrait of one of your friend:

I think many of us have friends and classmates. We come across new friends and classmates at different stages of education and at some stage parting occurs. All of them go their own way in different fields and institutions. But few are lucky to have their friends with them even after leaving an institution and I am one of those lucky ones to have my bestie Mohammad Hassan Khalil Qureshi with me in the college and also in NUST in the same class. The Gentleman you see in the picture is not a mere person he is a lot more humble and polite and hardworking than you can ever think. We always used to accompany each other during our walk from the hostel to SMME and vice versa. The distance shrinks when you have such a nice person accompanying you along. May Allah bless him with more grace and success Ameen!

By the way, I could have used it for something blue or yellow using Rule of Thirds😂 . However, to be honest I could not stop myself from showing that personality which is above all.

Take a horizontal portrait of a classmate:

The picture shows my Classmate Hamza Bin Umar, an amiable person. He is such a kind, cooperative and helpful friend💗

Take a creative photo of yourself:

It's me in the picture captured by my roommate almost at the curfew time in front of C1 Cafe NUST
. First of all, don't assume I'm smoking as I'm not a smoker Alhamdulillah😁 . Maybe this is creativity, the creativity of thinking with a dense smoke in the cold breeze flowing across the body.
Just guess what I'd be thinking? I know you might think that I have gone out of my mind because simply you are not mindreaders😐😐. Let me give you a hint it's almost curfew time and I need to reach the hostel before the curfew time👀

Yes, you got it right.  (Lol it seems like Dora the Explorer never mind😆)

So further I would not tell you how I reached back and yes I was on time😐👀

  9. last photo went me for craving xD. But the most interesting part was that car never betrays and the people put their notions that why to love a car. In my perspective, we owe our rides much not because they take us to a distant place but of many more other reasons. I am too fond of vehicles and think of same genre. So no worries, we had a lot more to discuss about cars. stay blessed, keep it up going as well!
